Hey Lyall Bay members,

Check out the second edition of our new Club News (thanks to Jamie Nilsson!). I hope everybody likes the new layout and is taking the information in. Make sure you have a look around our new website and also like the Lyall Bay SLSC page on facebook as well as following us on Twitter.

Christmas is just around the corner and on that note we have two celebrations to get into the season. The Junior Surf Xmas party is this Sunday (with a special visitor) and the Club Xmas party next Tuesday 20th. So come down for both of these and join in the fun!

Also good luck to the team of to Whangamata this weekend for the Northern/Eastern Surf Sports Carnival, and to our Club Captain Brad Lawson who is at National Lifeguard School.

Oceans 2012 Arrangements

Those going to Ocean Athletes, please email Caroline Sarfati at caroline.sarfati@gmail.com with your accommodation and transport requirements. We have accommodation booked for all the athletes (around 40) plus 20 adults, and two vans.  She needs to know who needs accommodation and transport.  It will be allocated on a first come first served basis. This time we are staying at the Mt Apartments not the back packers where we have stayed for the past few years.

We also need two volunteers to drive the vans - this will mean that these drivers do not pay the transport fee.
