Lyall Bay Surf & Life Saving Club
Welcome to the Lyall Bay Surf & Life Saving Club.We are the first surf life saving club to patrol in NZ and will celebrate our Centenary in 2010.

Lyall Bay is on the south coast of Wellington city, next to the airport and we patrol Lyall Bay beach on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. We have a large active membership of junior surf (7 - 13 years) and senior (14 years+) members and offer a competitive training squad for Surf Sports.

Please have a look around this site to find out more information about the Lyall Bay club.

Ocean Athletes

A dramatic end to the Ocean Athletes with the Tsunami forcing cancellation of the last day of events. Our Lyall Bay team was awarded top club trophy based on the first 3 days and we had expected more medals on the last day. Congratulations to all those who competed - what a great team you were.
